I wanted to expand my skills as an artist. and too see where my crativty took me. I wanted to take my art to the next level to see what I could do with it. I learned a great deal wile I was here. I earned how to think outside of the box, how to push myself to do great. I learned its not always just the picture of that one something but its the feeling that comes along with it. The emotinal feeling, too look deeper within the picture that there is more to it then just a picture of that one thing. Photography helped me learn that i can express myself and not to be ashamed of how i look of what i think is beautiful. I learned that i can express who i am. My challenge this semester was to be proud of what i have accompleshed. One f the other challenges was photoshop figureing out all the tools and when the right time was to use them. my favorite project is deffenity the self portate project. I shows my mental state i was in at a point in time in my life and its a very strong and powerful message that i try to portray. the scavenger hunt project. because i feel that in some of my pictures for the words i could have put more effort into them. If i had a chance to go back and do it over i would think over those serten pictures.
My final project was how people saw their self worth. what society is telling them they are, and the proses that is shown is how my mind set was and how others see it as well it was a proses of telling myself that im not what people say i am but what i say i am. The very last photo is of that person finally free from that mind set but the way some excape it is by death or inflicting pain on others or themselves. but once you notice what ur worth in this world then thats what makes life worth living. get through the bad charish the good and love with all your heart because you only have one life and you want to live it as happy as possoble. what people will see in my project is the sadness and the depression and then the proses of how the happeness finally is there.
I would say future photography 1 students just be yourself. Dont be shy about what you put in your pictures because those pictures are who you are and what your persinality is. embrasse it just know that what ever type of art you put into the world is going to be beautiful and not to hold back.
